It's time for a change...
Glenn Freeman for Washington State Auditor 2008

Glenn Freeman and Wife AnnetteGlenn Freeman Biography

I have lived in the state of Washington my entire life, growing up in the suburbs of Seattle. As a teenager I was fortunate enough to have achieved the highest ranking in Boy Scouts, Eagle Scout and two years later graduated from Renton High School. Shortly after High School, at age 20, I was hired on at the Boeing Company and am now on my 19th year with the company. Having been an auditor at the Boeing Company for several years and managing the Boeing Commercial Airplanes Internal Audit Organizations for 2 years, I understand the need for independent audit organization. It is my goal to bring to this office a truly independent leader, one we have not had for almost two decades.

As a working adult I eventually went to college and obtained a degree in Organizational Management from Northwest College (now University). I have been married for seventeen wonderful years, have two teenage children and currently reside in Kent. My family attends Kent Covenant Church where we are members and I have served as an usher for twelve years. I love to go camping with my family, golfing and watching movies.

I believe being active in your community is a necessity. I have always been active in my community, whether it was coaching youth baseball, soccer and basketball, volunteering as a PTA officer at my children’s school, participating on the Kent School District's Citizens Budget Review Board, assisting the homeless through the Union Gospel Mission, running bingo at a senior citizen's home or participating in Relay for Life events for breast cancer awareness. The foundation of a healthy state starts in the communities. It is up to us, we the people, to set the example for our government, not the other way around. It takes average citizens to get involved in the way government is run and controlled.

Thank you,
Glenn Freeman
